The Shop
Positioned within Canada's Largest Technology Park, Trillium Floral Designs has served the National Capital Region for over 20 years.
Established in 2000, Trillium has been named one of the top florists in Ottawa and has won several Chamber of Commerce Business Awards. Being a preferred vendor to several prestigious establishments such as Brookstreet, Amberwood Lounge & Eatery, and Kanata Research Park, Trillium has provided florals to several celebrities. Some of these include Mariah Carey, John Mellencamp, Shania Twain, Oprah and Kanata's own Sir Terry Matthews. Trillium is also a strong supporter of Ontario-grown flowers and plants, some even coming from our local Ottawa growers!
When you enter the shop you will be embraced by the lovely fragrance of our extensive cut flower selection housed in our spacious cooler. You may also take a walk through our jungle of diverse house plants where you will find species of all kinds, from the easy to care for to the more advanced. You will notice our large selection of pots as well as artificial florals and a dried flower bar. We have many unique creations dispersed throughout the shop, perfect gifts for those who have an eye for the peculiar. We look forward to meeting you and helping you with your floral needs!
Our Core Values
We are more than just a flower shop! We live by a set of values that we apply to our daily interactions with our customers. Here are our top 4 core values that make us extraordinary.
1. COMMUNITY & EQUALITY
We believe in equality and do not tolerate any form of discrimination. Being involved in community events makes our hearts full and we love hearing the success stories of surrounding local businesses and the people who built them.
2. EDUCATION
We have so much floral knowledge and we love sharing it with you. We are not just here to sell you flowers, we are here to ensure you are walking away with more floral insight than when you came in!
3. COMMUNICATION
We respect you and your time; you are guaranteed to get a response from us, whether it is returning a phone call or email (although the dreaded junk folder has sabotaged us a few times).
4. EXPANDING OUR SKILLS
In the flower world, trends and techniques are everchanging. That is why we are continually learning new tips and tricks from our floral mentors and are involved in many florist communities worldwide to frequently upgrade our skill sets and knowledge.
Community Involvement
Trillium is a huge advocate for supporting our local community, including non-profit organizations in need. We have had the pleasure of working with the following organizations:
